SET delivers energy containers to Indonesia

In close cooperation with the companies  Festo and MUT Austria , SET was able to send two energy containers on a long sea voyage for training purposes. The training containers, which were designed for an isolated solution, were successfully put into operation by SET in March 2022 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The energy container is supplied from different energy sources, PV modules in the thin-film and monocrystalline versions, and a wind generator. Excess energy is stored in lead-acid batteries and called up when needed. The interaction of the individual components as well as the acquisition of the operating data are recorded using a Siemens PLC and stored on a server located in the container.

We at SET would like to thank everyone involved for the good cooperation!
